About

Through innovative research, engaging teaching, creative training, and collaborative partnerships with policymakers, service providers, and community stakeholders, we're working to make a meaningful impact on the public health landscape.

We focus on studying the organizational characteristics of health care systems, delivery methods, and economic forces that shape how consumers and providers behave. By analyzing these factors and the policies that govern them, we can gain valuable insights into how to improve health care for all.

Our department offers a doctoral degree in Health Services Research as well as an MPH Concentration. Our faculty members mentor students and trainees at all levels, providing individualized guidance in the academic setting. Our educational programs provide valuable training in research methods that advance our understanding of critical issues affecting population health.

Our team is committed to creating a world where public health and health care services are accessible, effective and constantly improving.
