We work to understand health care affordability and value to translate research into policy change.
We conduct systematic reviews and meta-analyses for medical problems and treatments, train others to conduct evidence synthesis, develop and refine evidence synthesis research methods, and develop and maintain software for evidence synthesis processes.
We focus on the diverse health and social service needs of older adults and persons with chronic illnesses. Our research informs healthcare delivery and policy for these vulnerable populations, with particular emphasis on those residing in post-acute and long-term care.
Our mission is to bring together knowledge from across regions and countries, to identify the ways in which health systems can maximize the health outcomes they produce, eliminate health disparities, and maximize efficiency.
We aim to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families throughout the state of Rhode Island and beyond. The Institute's work is centered around family mental health and related community-level drivers such as food insecurity and community violence.
We investigate the harms of misinformation, data deficits, outdated communications practices and other barriers to meeting the information needs of communities. It will bring together researchers and practitioners across fields to co-design, implement and evaluate solutions, one pilot at a time.
We catalyze interventional research that improves care for people receiving post-acute and long-term care. We partner with innovators, researchers, and healthcare providers to use real-world pragmatic methods that accelerate testing interventions and translating findings into practice.
We work to ensure that the world has a better understanding and preparation for catastrophic threats, their far-reaching casualties, and aims to develop the tools, policies, and practices to mitigate and prevent their impact.
We conduct high-quality survey research in partnerships with universities, hospitals, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.
