Our department strives to keep diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging at the forefront of our work, whether that be through our research or creating the dynamic community needed for public health innovation.
The scope for consideration includes hiring and advancement of faculty and staff as well as recruitment and ongoing support for our graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. It also includes evaluating the content of our curriculum and the climate of our departmental community. By engaging faculty, staff, students and postdocs and pursuing this agenda on multiple fronts, the long-term goal is to effect change that is consequential and sustainable, fully integrating these goals into our departmental processes.
